How to: Merge styles.
Solution:
Open the source and destination workbooks. In the destination workbook, select 'Style...' from the 'Format' menu to display the 'Style' dialog box. Click 'Merge...' and select the source workbook in the 'Merge Styles From' list box.
1) Open the workbook that contains the styles to merge (source).
2) Open the workbook to which to merge the styles (destination).
3) In the destination workbook, select the 'Format' menu and select 'Style...'. (The Style dialog box appears.)
4) Click 'Merge...'. (The Merge Styles dialog box appears.)

5) Select the source workbook from the 'Merge Styles From' list box.

6) Click 'OK'. (The Style dialog box reappears.)
7) If the styles in the two workbooks have the same name but different formats, do one of the following in the displayed message box:
NOTE: This message box only appears once and the selected action will apply to all the conflicting styles.
a) To replace the styles in the destination workbook, click 'Yes'.
b) To keep the styles in the destination workbook, click 'No'.
c) To cancel the merge, click 'Cancel'.
NOTE: To view all the styles in the destination workbook, click on the down arrow button on the right of the 'Style Name' drop-down list box.
8) Click 'Close' to return to the destination workbook.
